Read this somewhere and found it thought-provoking:

Whatever we are doing whether healthy or unhealthy is always a solution to some problem. In order to change you have to ask what the current behavior is addressing. The strategy chosen to solve the problem will eventually become a bigger problem than the original one.

Ask yourself this: What need is being served by what I am currently doing?
