I feel like such a phantom, coming and going, writing and not writing. The last few months for some reason have shown me that I'm waaaaaay too serious and need to lighten up a LOT, so, hopefully my future posts will be a little, sorry, a LOT more fun. I'm counting on you all to keep me in check with this too. I've been having so much fun being happy and writing about humorous things that it's improved my writing - and my outlook on life - and I've decided I was waaaaaaay off base with what I should have been writing (funny, happy stuff) than what I was writing (boring, lecturous, dramatic, must-have-a-moral) stuff. Yuck. What was I thinking?
Not sure whether it was Black Friday shopping, the discovery of Italian Sweet Creme creamer or my falling back in love with a story I started writing a few months ago, but it sure feels good!
So here is something to think about: does writing style have an effect on the writer's mood?
